Maldonado Salchichón Vela

Maldonado’s 100% Ibérico acorn-fed salchichón in the long, slim ‘vela’ format is made from the meat of 100% Ibérico pigs fed on acorns and slow-cured for an elegant aroma, a firm yet juicy texture, and a deep flavour with pepper notes. Each piece weighs approximately 0.300–0.450 kg and measures 25 cm in length by 3 cm in diameter; bring to room temperature and slice thinly before enjoying. Ideal with pan candeal or regañás and with Fino Sherry or young red wines.
